HEBRON SPORTS DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE
MOVE. CONTROL. DECIDE. COMPETE.
HSDI Indoor Soccer places young athletes in a fast, small-sided environment built around movement, ball control, quick decisions, teamwork, and competition.
THE DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT
Smaller teams and compact space create more opportunities for every athlete to participate. Players are repeatedly asked to move, receive, control, pass, defend, communicate, and make decisions.

Less standing. More playing. More opportunities to learn.
THE HSDI MODEL
HSDI Indoor Soccer is intentionally structured to keep athletes involved in the game. A 5v5 format and target roster of eight create more opportunities for every player to touch the ball, make decisions, and contribute.
THE FORMAT
SMALL-SIDED PLAY
Fewer players on the field creates more space for each athlete to become directly involved in play.
THE ROSTER
TARGET ATHLETES PER TEAM
Smaller rosters are designed to increase meaningful playing opportunities and reduce time spent disconnected from the game.
MORE TOUCHES
More opportunities to receive, control, pass, dribble, and strike the ball.
MORE DECISIONS
Players read the game and make choices more frequently.
MORE INVOLVEMENT
Fewer opportunities to disappear from the action.
MORE DEVELOPMENT
Repeated meaningful actions create more opportunities to learn through play.
That is the purpose of the HSDI Indoor Soccer model.
ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT
Indoor Soccer develops technical soccer skills while also challenging movement, coordination, awareness, communication, and decision-making.
CONTROL THE BALL. CONTROL THE BODY. UNDERSTAND THE SPACE.
WHY INDOOR WORKS
Compact space reduces the time athletes have to stand, watch, or overthink. The next movement, pass, defensive response, or decision arrives quickly.

QUICKER PROBLEMS CREATE MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN.
PROGRAM RHYTHM
HSDI Indoor Soccer combines instruction and competition within the same weekend environment, giving athletes an immediate opportunity to learn, apply, adjust, and compete again.

COMMUNITY COMPETITION
MORE TEAMS. MORE ATHLETES PLAYING.
HSDI Indoor Soccer is designed primarily as an in-house competition system. Teams compete under the Hebron/HSDI identity, allowing the program to create more teams by grade level, increase participation, and keep development connected to the Hebron community.
ONE COMMUNITY
MULTIPLE TEAMS · MORE OPPORTUNITIES · MORE PARTICIPATION · SHARED HSDI STANDARD
Other feeder or community programs may participate when approved by HSDI, but the program is built first around the Hebron development community.

COMPETE AGAINST EACH OTHER. DEVELOP TOGETHER.
ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT
Indoor Soccer creates repeated acceleration, deceleration, change of direction, balance, reaction, and spatial-movement demands.
THE MOVEMENT TRANSFERS BEYOND SOCCER.
MULTI-SPORT DEVELOPMENT
ANOTHER GAME. ANOTHER WAY TO DEVELOP.
Indoor Soccer gives HSDI athletes another environment in which to move, compete, communicate, solve problems, and develop physical confidence.
FOOTBALL — Footwork · Reaction · Space · Change of direction
BASKETBALL — Movement · Spacing · Transition · Decision-making
TRACK & SPEED — Acceleration · Coordination · Repeated movement
PERFORMANCE — Body control · Balance · Reaction · Conditioning
DIFFERENT SPORT. TRANSFERABLE ATHLETIC QUALITIES.

THE COACHING STANDARD
LET THE GAME TEACH. COACH THE DETAILS.
Young athletes need enough instruction to understand the game and enough freedom to solve problems inside it. HSDI coaches teach technique, organization, spacing, communication, and team responsibility without removing the decision-making that makes small-sided play valuable.
TEACH — Give athletes the tools.
PLAY — Let athletes solve problems.
CORRECT — Help them recognize better solutions.
COACH THE ATHLETE WITHOUT COACHING THE GAME OUT OF THEM.
FOR PARENTS
WHAT YOU SHOULD EXPECT FROM HSDI INDOOR SOCCER.
A compact season should still deliver organized, purposeful development.
01 — ORGANIZED FORMAT — Defined schedule, small rosters, and structured competition.
02 — HIGH PARTICIPATION — A format designed to keep athletes involved in the game.
03 — DEVELOPMENT FOCUS — Instruction and competition working together.
04 — HSDI STANDARDS — Effort, communication, sportsmanship, responsibility, and team behavior.
MORE PARTICIPATION CREATES MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO DEVELOP.
